Introduction
Edu Net ("Edu.Net," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the personal information of students and prospective students who engage our visa representation and administrative services.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to fulfil the services described in your Visa Representation & Authorization Agreement. This includes:
- Full legal name, date of birth, and nationality
- Passport number, expiry date, and copies of travel documents
- Residential and mailing address, email address, and phone number
- EIIET Student ID and enrolled programme details
- Supporting documents for the visa application (financial records, photographs, academic certificates, invitation letters, etc.)
- Correspondence between you and EIIET Support Center
How We Use Your Information
Your personal information is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Preparing and submitting visa application forms on your behalf
- Communicating with the relevant embassy, consulate, or immigration authority
- Receiving and relaying official correspondence related to your application
- Maintaining internal records as required by applicable law
- Responding to your queries regarding application status
We do not use your personal information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the services you have engaged us for.
Sharing Your Information
We share your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Immigration Authorities: Documents are submitted to the relevant embassy, consulate, or visa-processing centre as required for your application.
- UIZ GmbH (Germany applications): Where your application is directed to Germany, relevant documents may be shared with UIZ GmbH, Lessingstraße 79, 13158 Berlin, Germany, under equivalent confidentiality obligations.
- Legal obligation: We may disclose information where required by Nepali law or a valid court order.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party under any circumstances.
Data Accuracy & Your Responsibility
In accordance with your Visa Representation & Authorization Agreement, you are solely responsible for ensuring that all documents and information you provide are accurate, authentic, and up to date. EIIET Support Center processes and transmits information as provided and cannot independently verify the authenticity of supporting documents.
If you become aware that information you have provided is inaccurate or has changed, please notify us immediately before submission.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to complete the visa application process and comply with our legal obligations under Nepali law. Once the retention period has elapsed, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.
To request earlier deletion of your data, please contact us in writing. We will assess your request and inform you of the outcome.
Security of Your Information
We take reasonable administrative and physical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Access is restricted to authorised EIIET Support Center staff who require it to perform their duties.
No method of data storage or transmission is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of your personal information, where no legal retention obligation applies
- Withdraw your consent to representation at any time prior to application submission

Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the District Court in Nepal.
